An online exhibition highlights the extraordinary contributions made by people of the Borough during the first 1OO years of Northern Ireland has been launched.
lt is part of Causeway Coast and Glens
Borough Council’s programme to mark the centenary of Northern Ireland.
From hundreds of public nominations, the Council’s NI100 Working Group, supported by local historians, shortlisted 100 people, who were born or have lived in the Causeway Coast and Glens area since 1921, to showcase their achievements.
The top 100 Famous Sons and Daughters are arranged alphabetically within each of the four themes chosen for the programme:
- Food, Drink and Entertainment
- Great Northern Minds and Innovation
- Heritage and Culture
- Sport and Wellbeing and Community Development
