Winning Christmas windows create a warm welcome across Causeway Coast and Glens.

Awards have been presented to the winners of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council’s annual Christmas Window Competition.

Despite incredible economic challenges associated with the pandemic, businesses have put huge effort into creating beautiful displays which have helped to create a wonderful festive atmosphere along with a warm welcome for shoppers.

The worthy winners from 11 towns and villages were selected by a panel of independent judges for their visual impact and Christmas-themed creativity which contributes towards a positive town centre experience for everyone.

Congratulating all those who took part, Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, Alderman Mark Fielding, said: “I am very impressed by the efforts made by shops and businesses across the Borough to create such colourful and attractive Christmas window displays.

“Each festive display reflects the remarkable community spirit and determined positive attitude of our business community and they also help to promote Council’s Shop, Eat, Enjoy local message across the whole Borough.”

“As a Council we are committed to supporting our town centres and our business community and I want to thank all traders for the resilience they have demonstrated this year.”
