Tonights episode of the popular BBC One programme Countryfile, comes from the coastal town of Ballycastle.
Filming took place in and around the town last year, and see’s the presenters take a look at the local crafts, food and drink, including Joe Crowley who catches up with a couple who produce award-winning smoked salmon and dulse seaweed.
In the episode Margherita Taylor drops in on a small ‘forward-thinking farm’ that produces ethical and sustainable produce from animals that would other be considered waste products in the dairy industry.
Margherita heads to the outskirts of Ballycastle to Broughgammon farm where she meets the Cole family and in Ballycastle Forest, Charlotte joins a red squirrel safari with some local school children.
