Bushmills chip shop—The Hip Chip—have picked up a major award at this year’s ‘YesChef Takeaway Awards.
The award ceremony took place on Monday evening at the Radisson Blu Hotel Athlone in Ireland, which celebrates the best in Irish culinary takeaways.
Picking up the ‘Ulster Fish & Chip Takeaway of the Year’, the award was accepted by owner and Bushmills businessman, Geoffery McKillop
Posting the news on social media following the announcement, Geoffery wrote: “Very proud to announce that The Hip Chip Bushmills has just been awarded the Best Takeaway Fish & Chip shop in Ulster at the YesChef Takeaway awards at the all Ireland finals in Athlone this evening.”
