A mural has been unveiled to the Community Rescue Service at a celebration event on the completion of a joint project with Ulidia Training on mental health and well being.

A spokesperson for the project said;

“Ulidia Training and the Community Rescue Service – Coleraine Unit came together over the last few months to deliver a mental health and well-being programme funded by International Fund for Ireland as part of their commitment to the local community.

“This consisted of a series of mental health and well-being workshops delivered through Causeway Coast & Glens facilitated by Yasmin Z Geddis from the Zachary Geddis – Break The Silence Trust, 3 Community Walks and a Land Search Exercise hosted the CRS.

“Four Gears Media very kindly agreed to video the Land Search Exercise and gift it to us to use to promote the work CRS do. “

Commenting on the unveiling of the mural, the spokesperson continued;

“Yesterday was the celebration event for the project and Ulidia Training handed over a mural to CRS as a thank you for the partnership.”

The mural will now be on permanent display at the CRS Coleraine base.

This project was developed and managed by the young people on the Ulidia Training – Impact programme as part of the personal and social development.
