A new Facebook group was created this morning to “respond to emerging needs of Causeway Coast & Glens residents during this challenging time.”It’s called ‘Causeway Covid-19 Community Help Group.’
The group encourages people to reach out, no matter how small or big the request. That includes running errands, picking up groceries and getting help with technology, to staying connected with loved ones.
A spokesperson for Causeway Coast Community said
“Right now, some people either have to or want to stay home. Now, those people can get the help they need from others in the community.
“We noticed many people posting that they are ready and willing to assist others on their private profiles, which is great. Now they can do this within a community group which covers the Causeway Coast & Glens Borough.”
