The PSNI are encouraging more officers to ‘get on their bike’ as the Assistant Chief Constable Alan Todd has announced that Four Neighbourhood Policing Teams from across Northern Ireland have taken delivery of 12 new electric bikes.
This pilot scheme is hoped to “deliver enhanced patrolling in urban and rural areas that are not easily accessed by vehicles”.
