We are asking members of the public for continued patience as we finalise details regarding the impact of the closure of Council’s six main leisure facilities.
A number of decisions will be put forward to the Special Council meeting this evening including freezing of memberships & unfinished courses. We will provide a further update shortly thereafter.
The immediate advice for anyone with Direct Debits is not to cancel anything with your bank. Once approval is given Council can carry out a bulk freeze of memberships more effectively and it will be one less thing for our customers to worry about.
Any loss of access to facilities/classes for Direct Debits payments in March will be accounted for when we re-open. The same arrangement will apply to courses which have been paid for but not completed.
