The outgoing Mayor of Causeway Coast & Glens Borough Council, Cllr Ivor Wallace, has told Councillors ‘I’ve had a ball’. described his year in office.
Elected to council for the first time back in 2019, Ivor represents the electorate of Ballymoney DEA, a place he has called home for over 35 years.
Back when the popular Councilkor was first elected, he said: “I just love where I live, and I am passionate about my DEA in Ballymoney and indeed all of Causeway Coast and Glens.
“I am looking forward to taking on the role of Mayor this year, and I will do my best to promote every corner of the Borough.”
Summing up the previous 12 months as the first citizen of the Borough at tonight’s Annual Council Meeting, the DUP Councillor addressed the chamber, thanking party colleagues, and council staff and a special thanks to his family, including his soon-to-be wife, Vivien.
