Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council has launched a new grant programme for community and voluntary groups who wish to explore or mark the centenary of Northern Ireland.

The grant will support the delivery of projects or events that showcase the rich sporting, cultural, entrepreneurial and academic talent which exists in Causeway Coast and Glens while building a shared understanding of our collective history and supporting the expression of the diverse identities and culture that exist within the Borough.

Organisations can apply for up to 100% of costs for projects such as arts and heritage programmes, historic talks or seminars or study visits to historic places of relevance to the centenary among others. Single organisations can apply for a grant of up to £1,500 while two organisations working together can apply for a grant of up to £3,500 and grants of up to £5,000 are available for three or more organisations working together.

The Grant Programme will open for applications at 10am on 7th April and applications should be submitted by the deadline of 12 noon on 7th May online via Council’s Online Funding Hub at https://www.causewaycoastandglens.gov.uk/grantsandfunding.
