Update on Leisure Centres, Sports Centres and all Council operated Community Centres

On Tuesday 4th August Council took the decision to reopen its Leisure Centres, Sports Centres and all Council operated Community Centres from August 17th. 

Management teams are now working towards the implementation of this decision with further updates over the coming days for members and the general public.

Inevitably the service will be different to what customers have experienced before, with a number of activities and bookings being prioritised in a phased return.

We would like to thank our customers for their ongoing patience in these still uncertain times. 

It is no doubt a welcome relief to staff and customers that we have a date to work towards.

There are still some measures to put in place to help ensure the health and safety of all but to date everything is on track to welcome our customers back later this month.
