Alleged dangerous driver is further remanded in custody

A Ballycastle man accused of offences including dangerous driving and being on the road whilst disqualified has been further remanded in custody.

Jack Carson (20), of Carnduff Park, is charged with dangerous driving at Quay Road, Ballycastle, on Saturday July 6.

He is also accused of driving a Volkswagen Bora without insurance or a licence, failing to stop after an accident, failing to remain at the accident scene and failing to report the accident.

Carson, 20, is also accused of obstructing a police constable in the execution of his duty and driving while disqualified on the same date.

He appeared at Coleraine Magistrates Court on Monday August 19 via video link from custody and the case was adjourned to September 2.
