Bail has been granted to two men accused of rioting the night journalist Lyra McKee was killed.
Lyra, was killed by the New IRA as she viewed rioting in Creggan, Londonderry on April 18, 2019.
Patrick Gallagher (29) from Garden Square and Jude McCrory (24), from Magowan Park were both charged with rioting, throwing petrol bombs and attacking PSNI vehicles that day.
They appeared before Londonderry Magistrate’s Court via videolink today (September 24) where District Judge Barney McElholm granted bail to both defendants of £500 and a £750 surety.
The case was adjourned to a court sitting on October 21 for review.
