Cannabis & Cash seized during vehicle search by Ballymena Police

Ballymena Police E section arrested three individuals, after stopping a vehicle yesterday following suspicious behaviour.

A police spokesperson said: “Whilst on patrol E section Officers came across a vehicle and their Police senses started tingling! They stopped said vehicle and after speaking to the driver the vehicle was searched, and a large quantity of cannabis with a street value of £2000 was located within the vehicle.

“This wasn’t enough for E section Officers though, with authorisation from their Inspector they were able to obtain a Warrant to search the drivers house.

“A substantial amount of cash and cannabis were located at the drivers address. It’s safe to say this male is now spending the day at the local Custody Suite!”
