A driver has been caught speeding on the Ballymena side of the Frosses road, a road which is notoriously dangerous and has seen many fatal road accidents.
Over the Easter weekend the Frosses road would have been busy with many making their way to the North Coast to enjoy the excellent weather Northern Ireland had been experiencing.
Police have said that the driver claimed that, “he wasn’t paying attention”.
A large section of the Frosses Road in previous years has been redeveloped and upgraded as traffic has increased. These upgrades have also included safety measures.
