19-year-old charged with Portstewart thefts

A 19 year old man has been charged with a number of offences including 7 counts of theft and 9 counts of tampering with vehicles.

He is due to appear at Coleraine Magistrates Court via videolink on Friday 20th November. As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

The charges are in relation to a series of thefts in the Swilly area of Portstewart and surrounding area on Tuesday 17th November.
