A 20-year-old man has been charged with a number offences including driving while disqualified, using a motor vehicle without insurance, failing to stop for police and causing grievous bodily injury by dangerous driving following an incident in the Crocknamack Road area of Portrush in the early hours of Saturday, September 25.
The man is expected to appear before Coleraine Magistrates Court this morning, Monday September 27th.
As is usual procedure, the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service (PPS).
