Police have arrest a 22 year old Male after he made off from police earlier in the Coleraine area.
Police issued the following statement;
“Whilst on proactive patrol within the Coleraine area, Police from the District Support Team apprehended a 22 year old male after he ran from Police.
“This male was arrested for various offences including Possession of a Class B Controlled Drug. As a result of follow up searches, Police recovered approximately £10,000 of Class B Controlled Drugs and a large quantity of cash.
“The male was subsequently charged with a number of drug offences and was remanded at North Antrim Magistrates Court today.”
