44 year old man charged with possession of a firearm

Officers from the Paramilitary Crime Task Force (PCTF) have charged a 44-year-old man with possession of a firearm with intent.

He has also been charged with two counts of possession of a firearm or ammunition in suspicious circumstances.

He is due to appear before Ballymena Magistrates’ Court this morning, Saturday, 16th April.

As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
