The NIFRS is currently undertaking an animal rescue in the Ballintoy area.
The animal rescue on the Lagavala Road has been attended to by two fire appliances, nine firefighters and two fire officers.
Weather conditions have been described this evening as treacherous. The condition of the animal is unknown.
