Police are appealing for information or witnesses following the report of two dogs running loose and behaving aggressively in the Mill Cottages area of Portrush yesterday morning, Sunday 8 March.
Constable Ferran said:
“We received reports, just after 10am on Sunday, that two German Shepherds, which were unsupervised, were growling and snapping at members of the public.
“One man was bitten on the upper arm and subsequently attended hospital for treatment.
“This is a residential area, with people going about their everyday business, and we are appealing to those who witnessed the incident to get in touch. We’re particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have captured video footage.
“Please contact officers on 101, quoting reference number 601 08/03/20.”
