Book of Condolence opened in memory of Lyra Mc Kee at Council buildings

The Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council will be opening Books of Condolence in memory of journalist Lyra Mc Kee.

Expressing her deepest sympathy, Councillor Brenda Chivers said: “I am shocked and saddened to hear of the untimely death of Lyra Mc Kee. I would like to send my most sincere condolences to her family, friends and colleagues during this very sad time and my thoughts and prayers are with them in the coming days.”

Books of Condolence are available for members of the public to sign at Council’s Civic Headquarters in Coleraine and at Council’s Offices in Ballycastle, Ballymoney and Limavady from Wednesday 24th April.

The books will close at 5pm on Friday 3rd May.
