Children cast ‘message in a bottle’ to sea, making it from Cushendun to Troon

A message in a bottle thrown into the sea in Cushendun by three school children was found by Anne Smillie in Troon on the west coast of Scotland on a regular beach litter pick less than a fortnight later.

Anne spent days trying to locate the children and eventually found Causeway Coast Community. Within an hour, we were able to locate the local family.
