Police have uncovered a quantity of class A and B drugs during a proactive search in Kilrea.
Suspected cocaine with an estimated street value of almost £1,000 and herbal cannabis worth around £4,500 were seized during a operation at a property on Boveedy Road on Monday.
Sgt Gareth McCrystal said:
“A 24 year old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing controlled drugs with intent to supply and has since been released to return for further questioning at a later date. The seized drugs will now be sent for forensic testing.
