SDLP Councillor Angela Mulholland has spoken of her delight in supporting Ballyhackett Primary Schools mover to integration.
The Councillor met with the principle to show her support and spoke afterwards to say,
“I was Delighted to have met with Grainne McIlvar the Principal of Ballyhackett Primary School today and to have met one of the parents supporting the move towards Integration.
“Parents at the school have voted overwhelmingly to explore transformation into a Controlled Integrated Primary School.
“Integrated Education is to be welcomed within our Borough of Causeway Coast and Glen’s and I would like to take this opportunity to thank Grainne for her very kind invitation to visit the school when the new term starts in September 19.”
