Ulster Unionist Councillor, Sandra Hunter has thanked voters, following her re-election to Causeway Coast & Glens Borough Council.
“I am honoured and delighted to have been re-elected as a UUP Councillor by the people of the Causeway Ward unto Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council.
“I wish to place on record my appreciative thanks to each and every person who gave me a vote, thank you so much for putting your trust in me.
“Thank you to my election team, to everyone who helped or supported me in any way throughout this campaign. I couldn’t have knocked as many doors or had my postal leaflets labelled in record breaking time, thank you.
“Thank you to the Ulster Unionist Party for putting their faith in me again. Grateful thanks to my MLA Robin Swann and his staff for all their assistance throughout the election.
It is a privilege to be back for a fourth term and I will do everything I can the next four years to serve the needs of my local community.
“Sadly, my running mate, Barry Torrens, who ran a good campaign with me, did not get across the line this election, but has laid down a great marker for the next time.”
