A woman was convicted at Coleraine Magistrates’ Court today for claiming over £100 in benefits she was not entitled to.
Zara Lee Cunning (27) of Woodburn Crescent, Coleraine claimed Income Support totalling £124 while failing to declare employment. She was given a two year conditional discharge. The fraud was uncovered following an investigation by the Department for Communities.
She is also required to repay any outstanding money wrongfully obtained to the Department.
