Saturday night Takeaway was thrown into uncertainty when Ant McPartlin released he was heading back into rehab to address his ongoing health issues and cancled all TV work and appearances.
This left his TV partner and best friend Dec with a decision to make. Did they along with ITV cancel the remaining shows or after a weeks break, that Dec carry on and host the last two episodes himself.
Thankfully and to the fans delight Dec made the anouncement he would continue to host the shows himself in Ant’s absence. Ant will still feature in segments already pre recorded.

But rumours are now rampant the the final episode will see a very special co host replace Ant and join Dec for the show. It’s rumoured James Cordon could be that host after appearing on the show a guest announcer a few weeks ago. ITV however have yet to address these rumours.
