Crash victims pair named after Duneany Road RTC

The names of the pair who were killed following an accident on the Duneany Road Glarryford, have been named locally.

No no They were Naomi Lynn and Andrew Burke, both in their 20’s, and had been traveling in the same vehicle, a Citroen.

The Woman driver of the other vehicle, a Honda, was taken to Antrim hospital for further treatment.

A spokesperson from NIAS said:

“Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, one patient was taken by ambulance to Antrim Area Hospital,”

North Antrim MLA, Mervyn Storey spoke following tragedy:

“Another accident has plunged families into sadness and Yet again there are more deaths on our roads.

“My thoughts and prayers are with the families because, again, they have to deal with the tragedy of a road traffic accident.”

Police are appealing to anyone who may have been on the Duneany Road yesterday afternoon, prior to or around the time of the collision, or anyone who recorded any dashcam or mobile phone footage that could potentially help their investigation to get in touch on 101 quoting reference number CCS 853 190220.
