Criminal damaged caused overnight to parked vehicle in Ballymoney

Damage has been caused to a vehicle overnight on the Linenhall Street area of Ballymoney.

The car’s front passenger window was smashed as it sat parked not far from the town centre.

A spokesperson for the PSNI has said: “Police are appealing for witnesses and information following the report of criminal damage being caused to a car that was parked on Linenhall Street, Ballymoney.

“It was reported just before 10.30am on Sunday, 23 January that the car window was smashed sometime overnight and a purse was taken from the vehicle.

“Enquiries are continuing and anyone with any information about this incident or who may be able to help with the investigation, is asked to contact police in Coleraine on the non-emergency number 101 quoting reference number 732 23/01/22, or submit a report online using our non-emergency reporting form via http://www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/.
