Father of actor James Nesbitt has died

The father of Northern Ireland actor James Nesbitt has today sadly died.

Mr Jim Nesbitt from Castlerock, peacefully passed away in Hospital.

Jim a former school principle, shared a common interest with James – Coleraine FC – and was well liked by everyone at the club.

The funeral of Mr Nesbitt will take place on Monday (August 17th) outside of 18 Castle Walk, where family prayers will take place (all welcome) with social distancing in place.

Those wishing to pay their respects can also gather along the route as the cortege proceeds to Downhill Burying Ground.
