‘Hairy’ good news for hairdressers

Welcomed news this afternoon for barbers and hairdressers, as a date for re-opening has been announced.

A proposed date on which salons can welcome back customers has been set for July 6th.

This date will be conditional on the ‘R’ value remaining below 1 and that salons have made their premises COVID-19 safe.

These measures may include limiting numbers of customers at any one time, hand washing stations, safety screens and appropriate use of PPE.
