The PSNI are understood to be investigating a threat made on social media to ‘try’ and shoot Arleen Foster, the DUP leader.
The comment, which appeared under a post on a social media page, was made by and individual who wrote they ‘must try’ and see ‘if he could get away with it’.
The impartial reporter has said the a fellow member of the DUP raised it with party officers who then reported it to the PSNI.
