Laura & Yvonne ‘Braved the Shave’ raising £1123.77

Back in September Laura Blair and Yvonne White ‘Braved the Shave’ and got their hair cut in aid of Macmillan Cancer.

All the donations are now in and unlike their hair, the total is far from short, raising a incredible £1123.77 which they handed over to
‘The Macmillan Unit’ part of a specialist palliative care in-patient unit located in the grounds of Antrim Area Hospital.

Laura and Yvonne would like to thank firstly Simon and the staff at The Northern Star for hosting the evening including Nicola Folly who also shaved her hair that evening.

Thanks also goes to The Ullans Centre for donating the money raised from their Coffee morning, Glebeside community association for the collection held during their Community Fun day and of course special thanks to Ashley Nicole and Gemma Crawford the hairdressers on the evening and of course to all those who kindly donated.
