Logans, a large retail site near the Co-Antrim village of Cloughmills, has finally been sold after being put on the market back in 2018.

First reported by Causeway Coast Community over the Christmas weekend—Logans of Cloughmills, who have existed on the site for decades—failed to sell in 2018 only for the business and additional retail space within the complex to be relisted in 2019, finally selling before Christmas this year.

According to Causeway Coast Community, it is understood that ‘the businesses within the complex have not been affected by the sale’.

Logans Fashions had previously been the only retailer on the site, but it was knocked down and expanded into a shopping complex with around 20 other businesses several years ago.

Stephen Deyermon, a partner at TDK commercial property said: “The Logan family started retailing from this site over 50 years ago, adding to and developing the complex into a must stop destination on the way to the North Coast.

“The popular retail units and cafe are well known in the local community.

“The time has come to pass the baton onto new ownership and management; to further develop and take the business park forward into the next decades. The 8 acre site also has planning for a Petrol station and drive-thru restaurant and these plans will be reassessed over the coming weeks.”
