Police attended the scene of a serious assault in the Main Street area of Bushmills overnight.
At approximately 11.50pm on Wednesday, 2nd August police received a report that a man who was in an apartment in the area had been seriously injured.
Officers attended, alongside colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service.
The man, aged in his 40s, has suffered an injury to his head and leg as a result of the assault. He has been taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries.
