The North Antrim MLA said:

“The decision by the Education Minister to ensure As and A-Level exam results will now be based solely on the predicted grades from teachers is welcome and a victory for common sense.

“I have nothing but sympathy for all the pupils, and their parents, who had been graded unfairly by the previous standardisation process, but am delighted that we now have a positive outcome for them all.

“I wish all our A level pupils the best of luck now with their futures.”
