‘McHappy’ again

Local residents of the Causeway area will once again get be able to get their McDonalds fix, as the popular Coleraine site of the fast-food restaurant franshise has again re-opened.

The fast food chain made the decision to close all their UK branches, including their drive thru’s, from an early stage in March due to the COVID-19 situation.

Reopening today at 11am, the Coleraine restaurant will only offer a limited menu available via drive thru, and has encouraged their customers to download the McDonalds app to make preparing and serving food more efficient.

The Coleraine branch will however be operating over reduced hours, with a maximum spend of £25 paid by contactless and is one of 25 throughout Northern Ireland re-opening today.
