Education Minister Michelle McIlveen has offered her congratulations to all those from Northern Ireland who have been recognised for their service to education and young people in the Queen’s 2022 Birthday Honours.
The Minister said: “Congratulations to colleagues from the education sector in Northern Ireland who have been honoured for their outstanding service to education and young people.
“These Honours rightly recognise the contribution that each of the individuals has made in the lives of children and young people. To receive this recognition in Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee year is particularly special, and each of the recipients should be proud of what they have achieved.
“Across Northern Ireland, we have so many wonderful examples of teachers, support staff and volunteers who dedicate their lives to the education and wellbeing of our children and young people. Thank you to all those who continue to make a positive difference each and every day.”
