Sinn Féin councillor Cathal Mclaughlin has called on people to continue to act responsibly in the community battle against COVID19.
Cllr Mclaughlin said: “Unfortunately I have received a few calls from people concerned of significant numbers of some young people gathering in public spaces.
“I would remind people that we all must continue to follow the guidelines. which at the minute stipulate gatherings of no more than six people. The practice of social distancing is still as important as it ever was.
“This is a time of great worry and anxiety for many in our communities and we all have responsibility to stop the spread of this deadly virus.
“Each and every single one of us, both young and old, has an obligation in the time ahead to act responsibly to protect our vulnerable relatives and members of the community and help our front line workers.”
