The Crankill Road outside Ballymena was the scene of a two vehicle crash last week, in which a female passenger traveling in one of the cars sadly died.
Sinn Féin councillor Cathal McLaughlin has said that a car crash outside Ballymena that has left this woman dead is absolutely heart breaking.
Commenting on the death, Mr McLaughlin said,
“I was shocked to hear of this tragic accident in which a woman has died and three others have been injured, one critical.
“I want to commend the emergency services for their efforts in the aftermath of this horrible incident.
“I also wish to extend my deepest and heartfelt sympathies to the family and friends of the young woman who died as a result of this tragic accident. My thoughts are also with those who are injured and remain in a critical condition in hospital.
