Game of Throne actress Michelle Fairley, who’s family are from Coleraine, is in mourning this evening after the death of her Mother.
It’s just over a year and a half ago that the actress laid her father, Brian Fairley, to rest.
Many will recognise the name Fairley in Coleraine, connected to a long established pub business of the same name in the town, which Mr Fairley ran for several years in its original premises on Society Street.
The actress, best know recently for her role in Game of Thrones as Catelyn Stark, will yet again find herself returning to her hometown to now lay her mother to rest, who died on Saturday.
He Mother Marie Therese (Teresa) aged 81, is expected to be buried beside her late husband in Coleraine Cemetery with requiem mass before at St Malachy’s Church in Coleraine.
