Shortly after 10pm yesterday evening police received reports of two suspicious objects at two separate locations in the village of Rasharkin.
The devices were discovered in the Moneyleck Park area of the village with residents being evacuated from their homes.
Speaking about the incident, Sinn Fein council candidate, Cathal McLaughlin said;
“2 devices found according to reports. The good people of Rasharkin certainly don’t need this.”
Police and relevant services currently still on scene with advice to avoid the area.
