Two people involved in yesterday’s RTC at the junction of Knock Road and Frosses Road, required hospital treatment.
The crash involving three vehicles, brought the traffic to a standstill for a time while the Air Ambulance landed.
A spokesperson for the Ambulance Service said,
“NIAS despatched an emergency crew to the scene,
“The charity Air Ambulance, with Hems crew on board, was also tasked to the incident.
“Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, two patients were taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital, one by Air Ambulance and the other by road ambulance.”
The RTC and subsequent road closure, caused congestion around Ballymoney for a time afterwards.
