Police are appealing for information following a report of burglary at residential premises at the Bann Road area of Kilrea on Thursday 27thFebruary.
Constable O’Donnell said: “Sometime between 5pm and 5:20pm, it was reported that entry was gained to a derelict property in the area. Extensive damage was caused to the doors and windows of the property. It is believed that a quantity of copper was taken from the property during the incident.
“Enquiries are continuing and we would appeal to anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area or suspicious vehicles at the time of the incident, to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 1472 27/02/20. Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime.”
