Police confirm sudden death of Male in Coleraine

Following a large police presence at a house on the Ballycastle Road area of Coleraine yesterday evening, Police have conformed it was in relation to a report of a sudden death.

Police responded to the incident alongside colleagues from the NIAS, where it is believed the deceased body of a Male in his 20’s was found.

Forensics later attended the scene, which remains sealed off today.

A spokesperson has said: “Police attended the scene of the sudden death of a man in the Coleraine area on Tuesday, 15 September.

“A post mortem is due to take place to determine the cause of death.

“There are no further details at this stage.”

Police in Coleraine are appealing for witnesses following an assault on a man in the town.
