The Coastguard Rope Rescue Teams from Coleraine and Ballycastle were called to Ramore Head, Portrush, this evening in response to reports of an individual who had fallen from the cliffs.
HM Coastguard, the Air Ambulance, the PSNI, and the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service were all reported to be present at Ramore Head area of Portrush.
Tragically, despite being recovered, the casualty was pronounced deceased at the scene.
