Detectives investigating a report of an assault in Rasharkin on Sunday 16th April have charged a man to court.
The man, aged 56, has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent.
He is due to appear before Coleraine Magistrates Court on Monday 15th May, 2023.
As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
The charge relates to a report of an assault on a man in his 50s in the Main Street area of the village.
