A report of a shooting incident at a house in the Loughanhill Park area of Coleraine, was reported to Police late Sunday evening.
The incident occurred at about approximately 11.30pm yesterday evening, with reports of two masked individuals entering the property with a number of shots fired soon after.
Inspector Martin Mullan has appeal for information following the incident, saying:
“We are EXTREMELY lucky that no-one was injured as a result of this incident which OCCURRED in a residential area. Whoever carried out this reckless act showed a total disregard for both thoses inside the property and local residents.
“i would appeal to anyone who witnesses this incident or anyone who has INFORMATION that coud assist police with their enquiries to contact the police at Coleraine on the non-emergency number 101 quoting referance number 1782 09/02/20 or crimestoppers on 0800 555 111”
