Ballycastle Sinn Féin Councillor, Cara McShane, has condemned a stabbing incident in the town which took place around 8 am this morning.
The Sinn Féin representative said: “Once again people in this town have woke up to the news of another anti-social incident.
“There has been a marked increase in anti-social behaviour, concentrated in the same area of Ballycastle.
“There is no space in our society for this type of behaviour. While people are volunteering and helping others during this health pandemic, a mindless minority on the other end of the spectrum are wracking havoc in this community and casting a dark cloud over other people’s lives.
“These actions are reprehensible and I would appeal to anyone who has information to bring that forward to the police.”
